"Reading the reviews, I’m starting to believe that these people have been paid to say nice things. The location is beautiful, but the building and the rooms are very old, not taken care of, the bins have not been clean, no toilet paper and I was afraid the sheets haven’t been changed. We had to keep the windows open all the time because of the bad smell. The receptionist was quite rude when we said we wanted to pay by card, she said she prefers cash. Would not recommend to anyone."

"Great place but very limited service. Furniture has aged and service is minimal (just plastic wrapped pastries and hot water/filter coffee) which is a shame given location. Views are wonderful. Seem in love with cash payment. Great views and shared spaces - incredible potential but minimal upkeep."

"We had a lovely stay for two days at the Lakelands Farm House. Anette is a great host! She really cares for the needs of her guests. The place is warm and cosy and has a great view over the lake. We absolutely recommend the place and hope we will be back one time. Anja & Carl"

"Our host was welcoming and helpful. In the morning there was tea coffee and pastries on offer. Annette a very pleasant young lady informed us we could use the fridge and store some foodstuff in the kitchen if we wanted which I thought was very helpful. The place was spotless and the bed very comfortable. It was quite and my wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Annette and we will be back"

"I stayed with my family for a weekend and we absolutely loved it! Everything was perfectly clean and tidy. The cottage itself is beautiful and from our room, we could overlook the lake. The owners are such lovely and friendly people and the food was excellent. Overall, we enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a warm getaway!"
