"We stayed in August of 2018 and it was a highlight of the trip. We loved the town and our hosts; we only wished we could have stayed longer. The house is cozy and friendly, the hosts knowledgeable and accommodating. It’s right downtown in this quaint place, walking distance to everything. If you have time, palm to take Tim’s archeological tour."
"This was our most enjoyable stay in all of Ireland. The best of hosts and lovely big breakfast. Very clean, modest accommodations, but so lovely. Excellent location for walking to downtown. We will return again one day and we have told many friends that this is a must stay! Thank you so much!"
"Delightful hosts Eileen and Tim could not have been more accommodating. They took such good care of us, feeding, conversing, advising and connecting us with adventures and opportunities. Their suggestions were spot on and we had a wonderful time in their care. The gardens were the "icing on the cake", a tranquil respite of color and whimsy. The archeological tour done by their son (and sometimes, Tim) is not to be missed. THE BEST TOUR EVER!"
"My Mom, cousin, and I spent a couple nights at the Kirrary House in Dingle. We had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was very good & held us over until dinner each night!! The rooms were clean & comfortable. Tim & Eileen were second to none as our hosts. We enjoyed chatting with them and especially loved our tour w/Tim. The location was perfect as we were in walking distance to everything we needed! We will be back for our next trip to Ireland!!"
"The most wonderful place to stay in the world, our stay in Dingle was even more enhanced by our hosts, Tom and Eileen. To start, we got off the bus stop in Dingle not knowing where we were going to sleep for the next few nights. It was pouring, as usual, and we walked down the road for all of 50 seconds, taking cover from the rain, looking at our map of Rick Steve's suggestions to find Eileen's B&B, when suddenly, an older jolly man asked us if we were lost and where he could help us get to. When we told him we were looking to get to Eileen's, he laughed and said, "that's my wife's place, I'll take ya there!". His name is Tom, and he also hosts tours around the Dingle Peninsula (a shame we did not get to go on one, but hope to one day!). Now, we didn't know HOW small Dingle Peninsula was at the time, but we were sure finding that out quickly. It was out of pure luck that the busy Eileen had a room open for us as she had to cancel prior bookings due to the plumber checking on water temperature, which was all okay by the time we got there! Her place is nothing grand, but it is unbelievably cozy! It is like coming home. She has a few rooms, some with bathrooms attached, others with bathrooms just on the outside. We immediately felt at home. Eileen went straight to making us feel comfortable. We quickly ran upstairs to drop off our bags and back down to explore the city, but before we left, Eileen was more than happy to offer us suggestions. I asked her for a place to ride horses, a famous activity in Dingle, and she immediately grabbed her phone book and gave me an old friend's number who owned a stable. She then said that she would call the bike shop to make sure we would have some bikes to get there in the morning (around 7 miles away). In the morning, she cooked us a grand breakfast, it was like we were being treated as royals (fresh oatmeal, berries, eggs, toast, homemade jam, fish, bananas, kiwi, yogurt, fresh juice; pretty much anything you could ever want). We were in a rush to get to the bike shop to head to the stable, when Anders stood up from the table to try to get his things together when Eileen quickly came over and forced him back into his chair saying, "now you sit back down and enjoy your breakfast, Tom is going to take ya there!". I mean how kind can you be? - quite unbelievably, we finished our breakfast and Tom took us in his personal tour caravan to the stables. Not only that, but they let us keep our suitcases in their home until we were to catch our bus later that day, free of charge. Tom and Eileen's hospitality was like no other. The two of them are the kindest people we have stayed with and hope to go back and visit with them again. The B&B is just a few blocks from the bus stop, in the central area. Don't think twice on this one, if Eileen has an available room, book it ASAP!"
