"Our solicitor seemed overworked & uninterested in getting our sale & buying to any final conclusion. She was never in local office always East Wittering. We were never kept up to date with any progress. The estate agent we were buying from had to ring my husband 6pm at night once a week to ask why none of her questions or emails had been answered. It took 4 months for whole thing to go through . Even then we were about to withdraw our offer & move into rented. A conveyancer called Sarah from SMR took over & got it to finishing line.
