"Unfortunately I had to cancel my stay at this apartment at end of june (airshow weekend) due to the current circumstances with covid 19. But even more disappointed that I will not be getting any of my deposit money back that I paid towards this stay. Even with 7 weeks notice I have been told I should of had travel insurance to cover this! Never have I heard of travel insurance for the likes of this. Plus no option of being able to stay at a later date! With a child you never know when things can happen never mind a worldwide pandemic, so I'd advise if there's any possibility that you might need to cancel a holiday don't book this apartment. I have been holidaying in Newcastle my whole life an never have I been as disappointed in the people's hospitality as I have been in this situation."
