Although the purchasing experience was top notch and the people I dealt with were awesome, the one thing I have found is that if there was a problem with the order, do not expect it to be rectified unless you are willing to spend more money. They won't replace/correct anything at their cost even if it was their mistake."
"I had an excellent experience with customer service. I had a manufacturing issue with a bow limb that I purchased from my local shop. The issue was a bizarre one-in-a-million instance. My local shop told me that it was the customer’s responsibility to contact the company to work out a replacement. The director, Mr. Jones, and Alex were quick to offer guidance and assistance with trying to contact my local shop to coordinate things and were decisive in sending me a replacement when my local shop did not respond. Mr. Jones and and the Merlin Archery Team exceeded expectations and were a pleasure to work with even though I live over in the U.S."
"A quick rundown Filled out a appointment request Got a call off Dan for a few questions about what I was after he put together a selection of stuff for me ready for my appointment time. Got there and had a quick run over everything Bow number one setup roughly Had a shoot On to the next bow . And so on Nothing was to much hassle and let my little lad have ago as he was waiting very well. We spent just over 2hours there. Had a brilliant customer service experience and if your new or returning to the sport I can't recommend them highly enough. There was no pressure to buy the most expensive kit I went in with a budget in mind and that was stuck to. Unfortunately I have to edit this review It appears to be to differnt experience from in-store to online I placed two orders since this review online one for delivery off the shelf stuff that was showing as in stock with no wait time and it took a week for it to be shipped. And again another one for click and collect hoping it would be faster bare in mind it's a 45min trip to the store for me. All off the shelf non customized stuff shown as in stock with no delay. 7 days passed no updates on my order Rang the store. Yes it's sat in the click and collect box ready for you (no one had tried to contact me) brilliant can we fetch it today then as we will be coming past. Went in the store to collect it and met Dan again and Dan's customer service was as good as the 1st time. So I am removing a star ⭐ To sum up in store is fantastic Web orders are not If it's something in particular I need that only Merlin have I will be booking a appointment if it's something I can get online I will most likely order from elsewhere."
"Was spoken to at first then promptly forgotten about by the staff who were distracted and didn't seem interested in helping me with my enquiries so lost any potential future sales once they move. Briefly spoke to me, explained they had limited stock and that they'd see if they can help me, then went back to do whatever they were doing and left me stood in the shop waiting for 15 minutes and made no effort to help me further. Incredibly disappointed as I would have expected someone in the hobby would be excited to welcome a new person into it, especially as they're a potentially high spending customer but alas the staff were rude and ignorant"
