"Worst experience with Capital Cars. Yesterday I booked 2 taxies 1 from this Capital Cars and other one from the Ace Cars. Both 25£ as we agreed over the phone. I clearly told both of them that I have luggage thats why I need XL both of them agreed. When the Capital Cars driver (Niamat) arrived and told me that he is sick so please load your luggage to my car i agreed and start loading. When I was done with loading few luggage back side of the car I told him to go with my wife and 3kids and drop them to the location I will come with other taxi and i have few more luggages then he told me better do one thing wait for me I will come and take your luggage I told him that i have an other taxi which is on way already I will wait for him. He said okay you can do one thing put more luggages instead of your kids and come with the kids in other taxi and send your wife with me it will be easy for you and save you money as I know you are worried about charges. I agreed and put few more plastic bags on the passenger seat in front and beside my wife also. Then he start making videos which I was surprised then i asked him why are you making video he said my company as asking me to send them then he start calling and the lady which i forgot the name start shouting at me why you put the luggages on the seats you have to pay now 55£. I told her that i have an other taxi just your driver suggest me to do this if you don’t want i can remove then she agreed. My other taxi arrived which is from Ace Cars and driver name Muhammad which was really polite and helpful he load luggages by his own and he ask me not to touch as i have kids with me he will do it then he put everything inside his car and was happy traveling with me. Come to the Capital Cars again when this guy (Niamat) arrived he told me that his company (Capital Cars) ask him to charge them 30£ because he load the luggages. Finally I paid him 30£ and say goodby to Capital Cars. I am new here, just shifted from Dubai and they surprised me with this game."

"Used it for 3rd time non-of the drivers offer to help even if you are on your own with baby with your luggage huffing and puffing. Drivers wait inside the car, not even simple humanity to help to open the door or help little with luggage very rude"

"I recently used Capital Cars for both an outward and inward trip to Heathrow Terminal 5 for my daughter and my Christmas trip. I had different drivers on both occasions but both drivers were polite, friendly and very professional. Both bookings were punctual which made the journey less stressful and both cars were immaculate and extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend them and will definitely be using this company again."

"ALWAYS LATE, UNRELIABLE, LYING AND BLAMING IT ON TRAFFIC!!!!!!! My mum called around 4pm to book a taxi for 6:40pm from Tilehurst to Caversham. They said that would be fine. Nothing mentioned about a waiting times or running low on drivers. It got to 6:51pm and we hadn’t heard anything so rang the company again. We were told the driver was running late and was on Tilehurst Road and would arrive in 5 minutes (which would have been 15 minutes late). We tried calling the driver 5 mins later and he said he was in town!!!!!! And that he’d get us in about 16 mins!!!! I complained, saying that the company told us you were on Tilehurst Road 5 minutes ago. He said there was a lot of traffic but I said we pre booked and that should have allowed time for traffic. I asked him to clarify what time the taxi was actually booked for get my point across that he was going to be late by half an hour, and he refused to say and just kept saying ‘I already told you I’ll be there in 15 minutes, if you want more details or have more questions call the company’. This keeps happening so often. It appears to me that the company are at fault, as appose to the drivers, by sending drivers to a destination but not allowing any time for traffic. So even if you ‘pre book’ (say even the day before) your taxi will likely be late if it’s a busy period, during peak times, or if there are road works. Blaming traffic is not good enough. They should send there drivers out ACCORDING TO TRAFFIC, so they actually get to their destination on time. When we go to work we don’t drive according to how long Google maps says the drive is, we drive according to rush hours and traffic expectancy. If we’re late for work we get told we should have left earlier to allow time for traffic. ITS THE SAME THING. The taxi was 35 minutes late. ITS NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!! Sort out your company!"

"Driver 91 was the best driver we had during our lengthy stay outside Reading. On time, friendly and very informative. We also had 2 other drivers from this company who were also professional, friendly and courteous. Thank you Capital Cars for making our holiday more enjoyable!!"
