I used to like going into Game but now I have to walk into a tacky Sports Direct where Game is squashed into a small corner of the shop to save costs on rent presumably. They should look at relocating. The Sports Direct crowd/music kinda ruins the vibe of walking into a shop exclusively for gamers"

"Fallen off a cliff edge since the move. Got copies of games out on the shelf that they don't even have in stock, you literally can't tell what's in or not. Spend ages waiting for them to check and then end up leaving empty handed. You try and support bricks and mortar stores and people's jobs and whoever is responsible is just letting it go to rack and ruin. I'm happy to pay a few quid more as well if it keeps more shops open and means high street isn't just endless Costa coffees. You can't blame Amazon when you're own mismanagement forces customers to go online. Embarrassing."
"Absolutely excellent GAME store. I forgot to get the name of the advisor who helped me and it's not on the receipt but I knew he was quite new, despite that he was extremely helpful. I purchased a pre-owned Nintendo Switch Lite, he helped me choose between a Switch and Switch Lite with his knowledge of the differences between the two. He then happily went out back and personally searched for the best looking pre-owned device. It looks like it's barely ever been used! I returned a few days later to buy Dark Souls Remastered. On this occasion I was served by an absolutely lovely lady who was happy to reserve the game for me until the next day as I had to wait for my pay to hit my bank. All in all a lovely store, much more helpful than the CeX up the road. Thank you all."
