"Home from home. Nice room, which was lovely and warm. Provided toiletries as an extra in the bathroom, which was a lovely touch. Sue, the host was warm and welcoming and cooked a lovely breakfast."
"My husband stayed here the night before our wedding, he was quite happy with his room, although found it outdated. He also found chocolate wrappers in the drawers from the previous guest. You pay when you check in, and cards are not accepted, it's cash only. Which we weren't told, and caused a good it of inconvenience for my partner as he had planned to pay on card and use his cash at our wedding, so the morning of the wedding he had to go in search of a cash machine. I doubt we will return, but it was convenient for what we needed at the time and my hubs ha d a good night sleep. Parking is minimal"

"Sue the owner was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble. We occupied all 5 rooms for 2 nights, all guests were really happy with their rooms. Breakfast was plentiful, lots to choose from. Would definitely recommend Chestnut Grange and stay there again."
