"Visited today for a sunday lunch after recent re-opening. Very pleasant experience sat in the lounge at the rear. Staff very friendly and the food delicious. I sincerely hope this continues. A beautiful country pub in a lovely setting and a very tasty sunday roast. We will return!"
"We were very disappointed with the menu not a chicken dish or lasagna. The menu says pasta and risotto but no risotto on the menu at all. The pizza my husband had (margarita) was ok but really it would be better to be able to order 8" 10" but there's just 12". The girls who served us were nice that's only good thing we could say about the experience."
"We had a pre concert meal and were quite disappointed- the food was mediocre at best - I don't think we would go for a meal again. The vegan choice was limited... On a positive, the 2 young men who served us were very nice and helpful."
"Food is really good since the new owners have come in. Used to be a really cosy pub many years ago but the previous owners painted over some of the lovely beams WHITE and various other things losing its character, barmy they were. Hopefully the current owners rectify this, as it could be an even more cosier country pub."
"Had a lovely 2 night stay here for a wedding, the landlady could not do enough for us especially for our 6 month old. Everybody was so friendly and kind and very welcoming. The food and drink was spot on and the room was clean, decent size and very comfortable bed. Would certainly recommend this place."
