"Perfect place for us and would recommend a stay here to anybody. Liz and her husband are just lovely and the whole place is beautiful. The pictures really don't do it justice. Very handy for anyone visiting Alton towers"
"The Chained Oak was the perfect place to return to after a day at Cbeebies Land. My toddler and I stayed in the Cabin, which was perfect.. scenic, peaceful, magical, cozy and clean. We both had a great nights sleep in the comfy bed. Breakfast was a tasty Full English, with cereals, yoghurts plus more to choose from. My toddler especially loved watching & visiting the chickens, the horses and goats. The dogs will give you a warm welcome too. Liz is a great friendly host and I would definately recommend a stay if in the area. We plan to stay again next year"
"B&B was gorgeous, couldn't fault it. food was nice and staff were lovely. if visiting to go to Alton towers, they tell you to walk through a field where there is cows, I would not recommend doing this as the cows were aggressive, especially when visiting with children I would not advise going in the field even though they say it is safe."
"Family of 4, stayed end of June 2022 for 3 nights. What an amazing B&B, the rooms (family suite) were perfect for us with bunk beds in a separate room and a larger main room with space for a living area with sofa and TV. We received a friendly welcome from Liz, who is a wonderful host. The rooms were ready for us when we arrived and were spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice. The location is beautiful and we wished we stayed longer to explore the local area. We visited Alton Towers and it's only a short walk across a field and over a fence or a very quick drive up the road. We walked the first day and drove the second as it was easier to take the car with two little ones and a pram. I'd highly recommend Chained Oak B&B and would stay again in a heartbeat."
