"Great location, brilliant service and comfortable rooms. Personally I don't like the Travelodge pillows, but I bought my own as I was driving. Parking cost £6 for 24 hours for residence. Keep in mind the car park is small, so if you are staying, call ahead to ensure they save you a space."
"We had a room which was obviously kitted out for the disabled given the amount of grab rails and the height of certain things and this meant that we had plenty of space both in the room and the bathroom. Spotlessly clean and a lovely temperature to walk into given the icy weather outside."
"Had a really spacious triple room. Possibly was the accessibility room. Bathroom was a bit compact, but usable. Staff were polite and attentive. Breakfast wasnt bad, but didn't stand out either. Nice sausages though. Was worth the money if you want the full spread. Watch out for the low hanging lamps, at the back of the breakfast area. Lol."
"Great hotel right in the centre and near the shops. Very clean and comfortable, good price. View from the back of hotel not great. There is rubbish everywhere. Carpark underneath (£3 for 24hrs) the hotel is a bit tight, but get there early before the contractors return with their vans for a good parking spot. Highly recommended especially if you’re on a cruise. The terminal is 5 mins drive away."
"Summary: decent, central place for short to 1 week-long stays. Better for students or travellers on a budget, or for those who simply need a place to sleep and nothing else. Detailed: Travelodge is quite central and easy to get to, but, sadly, that's the only real positive. Restaurant: Dishes could be cleaned a bit better (I always had a glass of water on hand to rewash my cutlery) and food items (from a fairly limited menu) should be better stocked to avoid the inconvenience of items being on the menu but not being able to order. The overall atmosphere can be a bit depressing - same for the restaurant deco and service. The rooms are beautiful and have all the amenities but we had no room service for our entire stay: had to ask for clean dishes, the toilet is not thoroughly cleaned and we had to use the same bedding all week (no one ever comes by to see if we need anything). Their key card machines are faulty so we'd find ourselves locked out of our rooms or unable to open the passage doors frequently. Seems they change staff often (almost nightly) as we have quite a wait with placing orders due to staff not knowing how to log certain orders. My conclusion: decent place"
