"Arrived, easy parking albeit not Tavern parking. First impression, awesome! Family feel vibe, very professional and great attention to detail. I do not usually review before we check out but we are just so happy and chuffed to have found this gem! "5 ☆☆☆☆☆ Chose the White Star for our wedding anniversary and I cannot express how perfect (yes perfect!) our stay was. The room was beautiful and absolutely spotless - what a fantastic housekeeping team - not a speck of dust or dirt - felt like we were the first to ever stay in the room ! Breakfast was outstanding and the ladies serving were friendly and professional! Also the best coffee I've had in a very long time ! Bridget was super welcoming and every interaction with any member of the team was positive and nothing was too much trouble. If you are looking for somewhere to stay, in Southampton, I cannot recommend the White Star enough. Thank you all for making our anniversary special and one to remember ♡ We'll be back for sure !"
"We stayed here for 2 nights before our cruise. I could not have been happier with everything. The food was great, the service was fantastic and the cleanliness was superb as well. I would highly recommend White Star if you are staying in Southampton. Don’t forget to have a drink as well. The French Martini was my favorite. Emma is so extremely kind and she does everything."
"This hotel delivered on the five star rating. Pristine in cleanliness, lovely contemporary decor, stunning bathroom, delectable food (I'm not sure how they made breakfast taste that good, but they did), and every single staff person I encountered was friendly, kind, and great at their job. Truly though, shout out to the cleaning staff because everything was spotless. The White Star has set the bar extremely high. I'm currently in another supposed five star hotel and the difference is stark. I wish I were back at The White Star."
