"Great location for accessing Reading City Centre. Usual Premier Inn sized bed, but bathroom was rather small and only includes a shower. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, but service a bit slow, with my breakfast arriving about 8 minutes after everyone else had theirs. Would use again."
"lovely hotel to stay at, but shower head didn’t turn so it only pointed at the wall, which was quite disappointing, no bath either and it was always quite cold in the room even at full temperature. it was still a nice place to stay for the night. staff are wonderful/friendly and breakfast was fab. 8/10"
"A very old hotel. Cold showers, dim rooms, disconnecting WiFi, cold rooms, and unpleasant smells. If you want a new hotel don’t go here. Nothing in the hotel works. There is no AC or good heating (heating stops at a certain temperature ). Only one charging socket near the bed. There’s a kettle-ticking sound and noise every 30 mins. There was no hot water for the shower, I was moved to take a shower in another room and the shower temperature was still cold. The hotel is trying to save on their energy and broadband bills. The breakfast was awful and sloppy. Hot foods had to be ordered, it was a controlled buffet. They tried to compensate for all the bad things by offering free breakfast. I really don’t recommend this hotel."
"Bed was very comfy but got woken up early by noise of lorries unloading. Water was initially hot but halfway through washing my hair turned to freezing cold. Had to turn off wait a few minutes then it was warm again ."
"Excellent hotel for a quick visit to Reading. Rooms are clean and comfortable and at least while I was there very quiet. There is ample free parking and a very good all you can eat breakfast is provided albeit at extra cost. Staff is friendly too. Only reason for docking a star is that it is a tad expensive with the breakfast not being inlcuded."
