"I recently visited this barbershop hoping for a much-needed haircut. As someone with long hair, I specifically asked the barber if she had experience cutting long hair. Although she confirmed, I couldn't help but notice some reservations in her response. Regardless, I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and proceeded with the haircut. After returning home and washing my hair, it became quite apparent that the cut was uneven, with some sections being noticeably longer than others. This has left me quite disappointed with the end result, as I now have to find another salon to fix the unevenness. In my experience, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere of the barbershop was pleasant. However, it seems that they may lack the necessary expertise or attention to detail when it comes to cutting long hair. I would recommend this barbershop for those with shorter hairstyles but would advise those with long hair to look elsewhere. While I understand that everyone can have an off day, I cannot overlook the fact that my haircut did not meet my expectations. Unfortunately, I cannot give a higher rating due to the uneven cut and the need for a follow-up appointment elsewhere."

"Been going regularly to Sam's barbers since I moved to Reading a year ago. They are honestly the best one in town centre - the service and quality is really high, and they treat every customer that walks through the door with respect and makes you feel comfortable. I've tried a couple others, but they've been pretty rubbish in comparison, with poor quality cuts and impersonal, rushed service. Sam's is best - just remember they're closed on Mondays!"

"I had haircut at Sam's Barbers last week, and I've gotta say, they've done an amazing job. I have long curly hair, and Ingrida, my barber, gave be the best haircut I've had in the last 1.5 years. The stuff is friendly, and the interior is pleasing. Amazing service, Cozy atmosphere, and a haircut Just as you Wanted - all of that at a Fair price. I recommend this place to all of you."

"I thought this would be my go to shop for haircuts, however for the last couple of haircuts I've received nothing but bad haircuts. the first few times I went, i got the best service however since then i got put with other barbers that work there and they lack the same skill and other that repetitively told me to give the shop a review focusing more on the review then the actual haircut. So here I am writing the honest review, I asked for a fade and this is what I received, seems like someone who never did a haircut before did mine, worst thing is they would've left it in a worst state if I hadn't asked them to 'fade' the haircut 2 times after. I personally don't think the barber cared about the haircut and rushed it even though there was no one else in the shop. Very disappointed and not returning again."
