"Complete waste of £90. They attended, said the unit needed re-gassed (which it didn't) and despite promises and reminders didn't provide the engineer's report they had said they would. Tenant tells me they opened the fridge door, got the motor to kick back in again and then left after 5 minutes. Complained and heard no more. Rip-off merchants. Bought a brand new unit elsewhere."
"Paid £88 for them to repair my wine chiller that stopped cooling, arrived and told me it was the compressor and they are hard to get new parts so better to buy a new chiller for £800. I found a new part and had it delivered in 4 days for £150 and they now tell me they don't fit these parts. Very poor service and I should of been told beforehand about compressor issues as that's the most common issue. I feel I was simply misled to paying for an engineer who couldn't complete the request."
"Very pleased with the service. My fridge freezer is working fine now. Gale, the engineer, was very friendly and knowledgeable; he let me know by phone both times he was due to arrive within 10 min or so of his arrival. I can thoroughly recommend this company, they let me know in advance by phone how much the service and eventually the spare part were going to cost"
"Our oven stopped working. Today it was fixed! Initial contact, the booking of an appoinment and today's attendance by a very courteous engineer were all handled extremely smoothly. Thank you! Oh, and we can eat again!"
"I had previously purchased a washing machine from Esteem and the delivery took over 2 weeks - one delivery date was cancelled and finally it arrive and was installed. I waited the length of time as I decided the price was fair in comparison to other firms. When my oven broke down last week Esteem engineer attended and made the oven worse blowing another section and he said Mark from Esteem would phone me with a quote for a new one. I did not receive a quote but on attending in the shop today the owner I believe Owen was defensive, aggressive and thoughly unpleasant saying he had phoned me on my mobile but hadn't been able to get through. He also commented that I had been in before in a nasty manner which I ad to purchase a washing machine. The engineer was incorrect on the parts that were required to fix the oven but he had found cheaper parts but when I said I had had no missed calls from him he aggressively said I can't be phoning customers. I have a land line with an answer machine so one would have thought a message could have been left. I was popping in to ask why I hadn't been contacted and as I couldn't wait 2 weeks for an oven on this occasion purchased elsewhere. I shall not be using Esteem again of course and as I have rental property they have lost 2 customers. A person entering a shop does not wish to be spoken to in the manner Owen sees is good customer relations!"
