I would like to point that out I go there quit regularly as it is close to my location but whenever I go there the security guy staring a lot with a miserable face. His face is worse part of the store basically."

"The shop itself is moderately alright. They are small and do not get a large volume of customers compared to other stores so they tend to charge more for 'convenience'. They have a large range of products and majority of it is severely over-priced. The staff are okay and quite helpful, although I went in for a few bits and pieces tonight when we got to the checkout and realised we had forgot a bag. The security personal who was lingering by the only checkout open appeared to be flirting with another customer. We didn't take a bag as we had about 7 items in total. So my girlfriend doing the logical thing was making use of her pockets while I waited for my receipt. The security person then decided "Oh yeah I have a job to do!" He saw my girlfriend with a couple of items in her pockets(blaringly obvious) then accused her of attempting to steal them. He made a massive drama about it so that everyone in the store could hear him. I was left thinking "okay what the heck is his problem?" then realised he hadn't been paying any attention the entire time we were at the checkout. So he decided to make a drama rather than ask for a receipt or politely ask if we had paid for the items and also ask for a receipt at the end to do a quick audit, no problem. I have been shopping here for just under a year and this sort of unnecessary drama is what steers customers well away and this will be the last time we visit Sainsbury's. If you're going to hire security personnel then at least hire people who are actually going to do their job properly and not act like an incompetent idiot."

"Has a very student oriented selection but is ideal for picking up a quick ready meal when you don't have time to go to a larger shop. Staff are always friendly :)"
