"Went in for a rook piercing. Absolutely friendly staff and the piercer, Sarah, was very thorough in explaining the procedure. She laid out the pain and healing expected and all the aftercare associated with it. The environment appears sterile and it is all done in front of you. All the apparatus is sealed in packaging and appropriate PPE was worn. I'm very happy with the outcome and advice. I'll be going back for another soon."
"Heartbreak Social Club is such a phenomenal experience. While on vacation from the US I received 2 tattoos from 2 different artists, Ali and Lucas, and each experience was wonderful. I felt like it was a collaboration to finalize my tattoos and at no point did I feel like I had to put something permanent on my body that I did not 100% love. My travel partner and I probably drove Lucas crazy but he took everything in stride and gave us both tattoos we will remember forever and be proud to have on our bodies. The pricing was also very fair. When in Ireland again I’d get tattooed by either artist gladly! Highly recommend. Also, the shop is beautifully curated and very special. If I were working here I’d be so proud to say so. It’s obvious a lot of time, love, and attention to detail went into it all. Thanks Ali, Lucas, and Heartbreak. ❤️❤️❤️"
"Swung by here for some piercings and my friend got her tattoo. The artists and piercers are so friendly and even were surprised when we tipped (they actually took the time to explain to ping for tattoos/piercings isn’t a thing in Ireland to us despite it being standard elsewhere). The studio is super clean and they have some cute merchandise too."
"Absolutely phenomenal shop with extremely talented staff and great prices. I could not recommend a place more whole heartedly. Every single experience I've had, the staff have given me all the time in the world, making sure that I come out with exactly what I want, and not rushing to get the job finished. My first experience was with the receptionists, all of which are extremely friendly and welcoming, in particular Emily who was a joy to talk to and was really accommodating. I was then introduced to Sarah, one of the piercers who did my three helix piercings, she was incredibly thorough, taking 15 minutes to just talk about what exactly I wanted and the process she would go through to make sure I would be happy with it all. When it came to piercing she made sure I was okay the whole way through and sat with me for another 15 minutes explaining aftercare and tips to take care of it. She was super reassuring not only in her actions and words but through her professional knowledge, I had no doubt that I had the she was the right person to go to and she will be who I go to in the future. My next experience was a tattoo (My first) with Lucas. He came heavily recommended to me from all my friends and it clear to see why. His work speaks for itself on his talent but you can only grasp a clear picture of how brilliant he is at his job when you meet him. He took my friend's design and worked with me to alter it to suit the location. (The original design was a staff that was too long) making sure all the way it was something that I was happy with. During the process he was super happy to accommodate anything that I wanted changed such as position of the tattoo etc. Throughout the process he was explained what he was doing and why, going into great detail, even explaining things like why he prefers using certain machine heads for certain techniques like shading. He quoted an extremely reasonable price for a medium sized tattoo He then, like Sarah took the time to go through what steps I would need to take for aftercare, recommending products to use and made sure I was okay with everything and to contact him if any problems arise. The tattoo turned out perfectly, even better then what I had originally planned due to Lucas' talent, adding small details to improve the whole. It is still healing as of this review and so no picture, but know that if you want anything from piercings to tattoos I could not recommend Heartbreak more and it is where all my business will be going as long as I live in Ireland, and even then, I would be tempted to return back for any other work I'd want done."
"I’ve only been tattooed by Aaron twice but both times he was very pro and nice to chat with. My tattoos healed perfectly both times. Definitely recommend if you like american trad. This place is also super central in Dublin."
