"My mother received a (Christmas) gift voucher for €60, to cover the full cost of a treatment that was advertised by Slender Health at that time. Today, she had her appointment. On settling her bill, she was informed that the treatment she’d received had since been increased to €69. She only had the gift card with her for €60 but reassured the cashier that she’d stop by when she was passing the next time, to give them the balance of €9. My mother is local, therefore they would not have been left waiting. When she got home, she received a call from Slender Health asking for their balance of €9. My Mam, shocked by such a call, informed them once again that it would be dropped in. Clearly dissatisfied, the girl advised her that her Manager would be in touch. Within minutes the call came from her Manager, requesting the money and highlighting that they had a business to run. Now, there’s something seriously wrong here. Firstly, why would you embarrass yourselves by making a call to someone for €9? Is business so bad that you felt you had no other choice but to make such a call? I’m not disputing that you are owed €9, but there’s a right way of dealing with such a matter. Coming down heavy on a pensioner for €9, just isn’t acceptable, it’s disgraceful. Not only have you lost a customer, you came recommended by her friends who I’m sure will be very disappointed by this, as I am. Your approach, is a very short sighted one, and to a local resident of over 50 years living in Raheny. It’s very clear to me that you’re lacking the basic skills required to run and maintain a business. You should feel utterly ashamed of yourselves for your lack of understanding shown under the circumstances. Good luck to you and your so called business. You most certainly need it."

"Unfortunately I was not happy with the service at all. I made my pedicure, it cost 37 € (so if you are looking for price and quality) not advising to make your pedicure here. First of all it took only 25 minutes (first time in my life) It was very quick without cleaning at all, no cutting the nails… I was really surprised. The instruments were just sprayed so if you care about the tools that will be used on you - it might be used 3 min back on their nails… (in my case) it was just sprayed, and used after me with another customer. I was not happy to see this and scared with this level of safety! I came home and clean everything again, under the nails, I cut them - as it was not even cut, only polished. Dry skin was not removed properly and cuticles I cut by my self at home. My first experience in Ireland with the salons. Not happy at all. Came home very unhappy finished up with my own pedicure….."
