"The good: Great location! It’s in a nice area and I like how it’s kind of tucked away down the alley away from the street. It feels very cute and homey. The staff was all friendly and pleasant, particularly the girl who did my nails named Grace. She was very sweet and I really recommend her. The service I received was done perfectly, and she took great care of my nails and my cuticles. The price was fair for the service provided. The less good: I called the salon and asked to make an appointment for shellac and nail art, but when I arrived they just asked me what color I wanted for plain shellac. I don’t know if it was a miscommunication or a mistake, but I was under the impression that I had an appointment for nail art, while the technician clearly thought it was just an appointment for shellac and nothing more. I completely understand that everyone has a different skill level, and I did look at the shellac colors to see if there was one I would be happy with, but ultimately I am just a “nail art or nothing” kind of girl so I just got a clear base coat. Overall there was much more good than bad and Grace did a great job, and overall I do recommend this place."

"A haven of peace tucked away but so convenient in Dalkey. Lyn and her team are magicians making sure all clients from the youngest to the slightly more mature leave with a smile on their face and perfect nails. Haven't tried nail art yet but have seen the amazing work Lyn can do."

"Two weeks ago, I went to get my nails done. I wanted acrylic with nail extensions and a simple design. Upon starting my appointment the manicurist hands me over to someone else and she proceeds to do my nails. Throughout the whole time, she was speaking her own native language after i had said something to her and laughing afterwards. I wanted two of my nails to have a skin colour, so I can go with the design I wanted, but the colour on my nails looked like a pale pink that didn't resemble a skin colour whatsoever. After asking her if she has a similar colour to the picture I showed her, she proceeded to argue with me, saying that the 'pale pink' was the skin colour I was asking for. Then she reluctantly gives me the colour palate to look at, all while ignoring me and not giving any advice. I then had to choose different colour and went home feeling unhappy with the overall service. Very disappointing and would not recommend"

"Could not recommend Lyn nails enough. Situated in the gorgeous courtyard off castle street in Dalkey. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. I’m extremely picky with who does my nails. The standard of service was impeccable. Absolutely love the attention to detail Lyn spent on my nails. Service is extremely quick, professional and clean. Thank you guys, can’t wait for my next visit!"
