"Complete lifesavers. We had a caravan rental and after a day of intensive “Americans driving a stick shift on the left side of the road” nervousness, we pulled in here. A day full of anxiety and borderline panic was immediately negated by the staff smiles and the chipper welcome we received. We stayed two nights. Relaxed, wandered, and basically had the grounds to ourselves in October. Economical and nice. Curious what it is like during peak season. Only complaint is the showers don’t ventilate and ended up with soggy clothing. But if that’s the worst thing here, they’re still doing great."
"Visited the Santa Experience. Kids really enjoyed it. Nice mix of activities to do. Train ride and house boat were good fun. Santa's helpers were all very nice throughout. Highly recommended."
"Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. All staff were excellent from Santa's elf at the entrance gate in the freezing cold who advised on parking and where to go and what was available to us. The experience for the children who went on Santa's Train, the fairy forest, the arts and craft with Mrs Claus and the mad elfs sing song before the boat trip to Santa.... Santa (Kearney) I got his name was Excellent with the children and just seeing their smiles said it all.... Fantastic....."
"I have never went to a place with such friendly staff all over, the facilities was great the lodge was amazing for the price and the food was tops, one particular lady named Anna in the lake house was so nice to me and my daughter, we arrived late and the kitchen was closing and she looked at my little one and said hold on ill see what I can do, next thing we know we wore seated and giving a menu after the kitchen had closed, really great staff! Rained the while time we were there but that didn't stop us really enjoying ourselves, would recommend to anyone!"
