Reviews
"Nice park. Tennis courts, basketball courts, all weather football pitches and a playground. All available to use to everyone."
"Knight's Playground and Multi Use Games Area in Balrothery. The playground has been designed as a destination facility for families with a strong emphasis on natural play opportunities. A key element is the design of playground reflected the rich local heritage of the area. The striking, central knight themed sculpture draws on the tradition that Balrothery derives its name from Baile na Ridire ‘Town of the Knight’. Meanwhile the multi-use games arena has been designed as a modern fit for purpose facility to cater for 5-side football, basketball and general training activity. Car parking is small and few benches are missing fir those who came to watch tennis, football or basketball."
"Great play area for the kids with all sort of interesting facilities, like a sandpit with a water pump which encourages kids to build canals in the sand...endless hours of fun. It has all the usual slides and swings, along with a basketball court too."
