"Was a great vets have come here for years. More recently a new company took them over and are more focused on how much they can charge rather than veterinary care. Being told that we need to bring in our 16 year old animals that have been on the same heart medication for years for review just to charge and upsell for scans etc. (numerous people saying the same thing). I understand a vets is still a business and needs to make money but putting pets under increased stress in old age to make more money(already buy €50 of tablets every month off them) I will be looking for another vet"
"We have been bringing our cat Ozzy to Lissenhall Vets since he was a little kitten back in 2018. Unfortunately, we had to bring him to the clinic to put him to sleep last week (December 2022). I wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff, especially the vet and vet assistant (neither of whom I got the name, I was too emotional to ask for names) who was with us on the last visit, the ladies at reception and to all the staff that we have come across in your vet practice: Thank you. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Thank you for treating our cat with great care, kindness and professionalism. For anyone who considers bringing their pet to a vet clinic, I would highly recommend Lissenhall Vets in Swords. Ps. Whenever we have asked to be seen urgently, the appointments have always been given promptly despite the vet practice being very busy."
"The deterioration in this practice in the last year is overwhelming. Rudest reception staff I have ever encountered, lacking in empathy not to mention manners. I have been a client for over 20 years and will never step foot in it again having recently been charged nearly €600 for a cat to be misdiagnosed, advised she had a bad tooth ....dead within a month.....inoperable cancer NOT a bad tooth. And just so you know your animals are now know as RGU's Revenue Generating Units. Well done CVS, corporate moneymaking machine all the way. Looking forward to following Gary and Denis to their next practice ."
"On arrival, we were allowed to bring our cat and dogs, right into the pens they were staying, so got to see all the dogs and the conditions. Our three, seemed to have enjoyed themselves and had a super time. Lissenhall put up pictures and videos throughout the week, which we loved to see. Roxy may even be a little less anxious, since she stayed. Thanks so much for looking our babies."
"Very friendly and helpful team. But I got concerned when my cat came out of around 2 months quarantine in shock, extreme anxiety and extremely overweight. She was a fit hunter and took a year for her to get back on track (symptoms can still be seen until this day) although her papers were in order yet the government took the decision to quarantine her, not the awesome vet who helped anyway he could. You might want to consider better food quality and environment for quarantined animals especially that it cost me more than 1.5k. (picture attached is 2 years later)"
