"Called on 27/07/21 to request change of mobile number so that I can access their online customer portal. Guy on the phone assured me that the request was submitted and it would be done. I've just gone on to check my customer portal, still my old number. On hold for 30 minutes. No way of leaving a request for a call back or even submitting a request online. Very difficult customer service experience."
"I have made several calls and emails re return of car after PCP for 3 years. I never missed a payment, the car is pristine, but they just don't want to know you unless you're part exchanging your vehicle for another one. I've read the other reviews, at least I know I'm not going crazy, there's a pattern here. Just been cut off, had barely given my details to the girl. I swear she couldn't be bothered, it was 12.45pm, probably didn't want to be late for her lunch! On a serious note I just want to end this contract, I dread the stress ahead, and possibly loss of money aswell if they don't cooperate. Don't deal with them unless you're very desperate."
"I returned my car (pcp contract) two months ago and settlment was supposed to be sorted a week after. I was on the call with VW bank many times and they assured me it will be sorted! More than a month after they finally got it sorted but never bothered to update the status in central credit register even if I specifically asked to do so as I was applying for mortgage! I am very disappointed as a customer who was with them for years (my wife, too). After this never again!"
"After I repaid a car loan in FULL, they continued to take repayment from my bank. I emailed them three times and they didn't even acknowledge my emails. I am now going to escalate this matter to the Ombudsman. I would not deal with this financial institution again."
"I called vw bank Ireland on the 25th of may 2018 and asked for the call to be recorded and clearly asked to make an official complaint... I got no acknowledgement from them. After nearly two weeks I called them and they told me I didn't leave a complaint it was only a concern . When i reminded them that the call was recorded and that i had contacted the financial service onbudsman , only then did they take it serious . I would not recommend any dealing VW bank or any other part of the Volkswagan group .. After 8 months of fighting I got my money back for the bad Crafter van 181 Wx 1906. I got official confirmation from VW bank that our dealings was finished.. then almost a week after you took another payment.. Then expected me to wait 10 days for it back .. Thanks to AIB I took it back. The quality of VW Bank service matches the quality of all other departments of VW and vehicles.. Shoddy and disgraceful I will be reporting you to the financial service ombudsman and hopefully you will treat future customers better if they are brave enough to trust in you lot."
