"Took out a 5 year €35k car loan from Lombard finance in 2021. Called 11 months into the loan to try to pay it off. They wanted me to pay 68% of the cost of the finance...11months into a 5 year contract to pay it off early. They refused to lower the "settlement" greedily insisting on the maximum they could drain from me. LOMBARD ARE LOAN SHARKS. STAY AWAY. Update in August 2022 - they eventually, after much back and forth gave a mutually agreeable settlement. But only after a lot of negotiations."
