"Took my cassette player to this company and was very impressed with the service and the knowledge that this company had. They was polite and did a great job on the cassette player. Would have no problem using this company again 5 star service"
"I took my Bose unit to Websters and asked what was wrong to which I replied 'it does not fire up'. I paid the £30.00 assessment fee and was told to bring my remote when I returned assuming the repair was feasible. Received my text conirming a price which I accepted and today received a phone call to say the repair was completed. I took my remote, and having paid the repair charge asked if I could see it power up. The response was not professional in fact unecessarily rude. So I left. The unit works as it should but the sour taste will remain, a simple request from a paying CUSTOMER ruined any repeat journeys to Websters"
"Musicians - pay attention!! If you have any problems with your amps, cabs or any audio equipment, give Chris a call at Websters and he'll sort you out. He's just renovated and recapped a very treasured and historic valve amp for me and I can't believe the difference it has made. His attention to detail was great and he kept photos of the process to maintain the history. Really reasonable price too so I couldn't recommend him more highly. Thanks again Chris!!"
"Had a minidisc player repaired 15 or more years ago by Websters. I returned recently to get an old Arcam CD player fixed. Great to see the shop still there as before. No fuss or drama. No sign ups for special offers or other unnecessary garbage. CD player now working flawlessly for a reasonable fee without the need to package it up and send it across the country. Top service and top company. Cheers"
"Disappointing for sure. I took a piece of vintage audio gear here (Sony WM-D6C) for an inspection where I was told there was unrepairable damage to a component. I was charged about £30 for the privilege. When I then decided to open it to take a picture for reference to look for the part, I found no broken pieces and one gear that was loose on a spindle. I pushed it back into place and now it works perfectly. Shame to say the least that I was given a bogus diagnosis to an unbroken item. I did email privately before making this review so they clearly have no issue with me writing this as they never responsed."
