"We had a family room with our two kids. Our bedside lights didn't work so we could either have the main lights on or a small desk lamp. As the kids go to bed a lot earlier than us, this made reading quite difficult. When we mentioned it to the desk staff, we were told that the bedside lamps are old and are being run down in all the rooms to be replaced en-masse. There was no apology though the staff on the desk, and throughout the hotel, were very friendly. It's very cheap, about £55 for a family room, and conveniently located near our family. Also the breakfast was pretty good. We're likely to use it again though you obviously get what you pay for."

"Disappointing but you get what you pay for. The bathrooms were clean enough. The beds weren't made every day, the cleaners just pull the blankets over the sheets. The food they offer is all frozen, including the pizzas and takes way too long to be served. Beer was flat from the bar. I requested hot water to drink from the bar but was refused and told I needed to buy a drink to get the hot water. There is a small Marks and Spencer in the petrol station opposite the hotel which should be used rather than the on-site food services at the hotel - it's nicer and cheaper."

"Upon arrival, outside of hotel was very clean and well kept. We headed to reception area,which was also very well presented, and was warmly greeted at reception by Bright who checked us in efficiently, explaining all we needed to know with regards to finding our rooms and breakfast the next morning. We headed to our rooms, and was very pleasantly surprised with how clean and well equipped the room and bathroom were. Bed was very comfortable and room quiet despite nearby roads and railway line. Breakfast the following morning was perfect for our needs, with a good selection of produce. All in all a good stay, would definitely use again and recommend to others."

"Stay was good. Location great to get into Bedford or to pass by. Room was clean and they even managed to provide a heater! Great service on check in. Breakfast was included and Bright gave great service even on a buffet breakfast. He’s a great asset to the team! Breakfast was the usual but effective. Definitely highly recommended."

"Stopped off as a last minute stay during bad weather. The room was clean and comfortable, the food was nice, breakfast in particular was excellent. It's not in a location I would normally choose but it was in a very welcome one! Staff were very polite and helpful."
