"I received a bouquet of flowers as a gift and on the day of delivery, I emailed the shop, with a photo, to say one of the flowers was dead on arrival. Many others were also past their best, including a Chinese lantern stem that was damaged and hanging down. The shop apologised and arranged for a few extra flowers to be delivered as a gesture. When they arrived the following day, I invited the delivery lady in (she was from the shop) to show her how poor my flowers were - by this stage, day 2, two more were dead, a freesia had dried up, the Chinese lantern was badly hanging down and 1 rose was discoloured brown at the base, with not long to last. This was day 2. The woman said the flowers were delicate but apologised and took the 4 dead ones back to show to the proprietor. I feel sorry for my children whose gift this was, as I'm sure it wasn't cheap. My advice would be to shop elsewhere in future."
"I was totally embarrassed by the two separate white roses I ordered to be delivered early morning on the 3rd of August for a funeral,they were in full bloom & were dead when we all put our roses on the coffin,myself & friend were extremely embarrassed by this as everyone else's roses were lovely buds with a bit of jip,we had to hide our roses under everyone else's through sheer embarrassesment. I was not impressed at all as no cards came with the roses either,so my friend & myself could not even write our last goodbyes to our very dear friend. I would NOT recommend anyone to use this FLORIST you would think a 9.30am delivery you would at least get fresh roses. Go to a great florist near woodingdean,very nice gentleman & was extremely helpful,I used this florist last year for another funeral,the white rose I received was beautiful,smelt lovely & was fresh."
