"I love the tidal pool it's a great place iv been living in my car for 3 weeks now waiting to be rehomed mainly because I have a dog so I'm stuck and freezing but what a beautiful spot to spent the last 3 weeks always clean and just lovely thank u Yvonne"
"Peaceful and protected ocean pool. It was only 10 degrees and quite a few swimmers were out."
"My favourite place to swim outdoors. The water is clean and this is a very natural pool. Not to be confused with the boating pool opposite dream land, it is the largest surviving tidal pool in the country. The beach end is shallow and gets much deeper towards the seaward end. There are no changing rooms or life guard so don't go if you are timid about that. Margate mainsands and Westbrook Bay are close to public toilets and there are life guards at those beaches. It should be noted that no dogs are allowed at the tidal pool during the summer months as this is disruptive to swimmers and unhygienic when dogs do their business in the pool. Overall this is a lovely place to swim or canoe and I would recommend to anyone brave enough to face the cool water temperatures."
"This a great place to get into the sea and be protected by the wall at the same time. Swim paddle or just play in the sand"
"Can still get a swim when the tide is out"
