"Have driven from Margate as the pool there now closed for a year! The grandchildren wanted the inflatable fun session! They had lovely time here! Plenty of staff, who were friendly and happy. We were delighted that we could sit in cafeteria which is right by the poolside so you can watch and talk to those in the pool. Lovely atmosphere! Will go again."
"Nice pool, I used to come here as a child 25 years ago and it feels like it hasn't dramatically changed. Some areas have been updated and the cafe is nice which I don't remember being there. I now take my daughter there who is 3 and she loves the kids pool which is nice and warm for a long time there. Costs us £11 a visit for 3 hours of swimming, seems a little bit costly for a swim. Maybe if adults go half price if taking a child because if your an adult with a toddler you are not really using the full facilities as much."
"Went back to my outdoor swimming tonight. Faversham has adults only 'Sunset Swims' 3 nights of the week. The water is about 24 degrees, so bearable even on cold rainy wintry nights. The sessions are £6 for an hour, and it is very easy to book online. There is a car park right by the pools which is free after 6pm."
"Prices have increase dramatically over the past year or two, from £4.50 for an adult to £7.00. £6.00 for a child. I used to enjoy swimming there regularly but, have now been priced out so, have stopped going (I joined the local gym as a cheaper alternative for keeping fit). The season tickets are also expensive for what you get as the adult/public swim times are quite limited. Ridiculous really, people should be being encouraged to take exercise without being deterred by high costs. It might not be so bad if the changing room and shower facilities were good but, they are not. One cannot even have a proper shower as the facilities are communal unisex. A hair wash is the best it gets. No good if you do not plan to return home straight after. Overall, poor value for money."
"Lovely outdoor pools, if a tad cold but to be expected. Really warm pool inside with cute slide. Appalling changing rooms. Dirty, small. they have these awkwardly designed triangular seats in there so you can't put anything down without it falling off. We ended up in the worst changing rooms, it had the drain running through it so had about 3cm of floor to use. The water was also suspiciously yellow. The lockers didn't work. We tried a few, first one I didn't check, just assumed it worked, packed all the stuff in then it just wouldn't lock. Second one I checked, only for it to not work once you put the money in...local told me this is usual. I saw alot of locals literally leaving in clothes they didn't mind getting wet. They seemed to sit in the sun outside, dry out a bit then put clothes on and leave like that, to avoid the changing rooms. It's not cheap....they need to fix those changing rooms, it lets the entire thing down ."
