"Rude, curt and quite dismissive. Very disappointed. I attempted to buy a calor gas bottle from this stockist and they said they would not sell one to me even though other stockists was prepared to sell me a new one without needing to exchange. I phoned six stockists in Bedfordshire and about seven in Buckinghamshire. They said that when they got one in, they were happy to sell it without having to exchange one for one. My 77 year old mother is due to collect one in Bedfordshire on Saturday and the only reason I phoned Odell was they had one and it saved having to wait until Saturday for one. They are the ONLY company refusing to sell new calor gas cylinders. The only one. I bought a full cylinder yesterday and it is in my porch right now as shown in my photo. I completed a Calor cylinder refill agreement. I cannot help but feel that there is something else going on, and that their reason not to sell it to me is about something else because no other stockist is acting this way. Only Odell & Co. If you are looking for gas cylinders for pensioners, it is best to avoid this stockist. EDIT As demonstrated by their response, I shall simply reiterate what I said before. They are rude and evidently believe themselves to be economically Covid resistant.. nothing else explains their dogma. They really are going to "die on that cross" of righteousness aren't they? Even seeing that I bought a Cube bottle from another stockist as shown by my photo, they are still insisting that Calor state they cannot sell them without exchanging one for one. I spoke with Calor. They said it is at the discretion of the stockists. Odell said Calor stated they categorically cannot sell a new gas bottle. I would suggest if review readers do not believe me, phone any other stockist in Buckinghamshire or Hertfordshire and listen to their response. Not ONE of them will say what this shop says. Odell are the anomaly and elderly/vulnerable people should NOT rely on them. Oh and I am about to travel to Hertfordshire to buy a further two for the Cube. The stockist has three and will be selling my mother two... NEW! No exchange for exchange. I'll photograph those as well when I collect them.. and their excuse will be??? FURTHER EDIT: Now my mother has two cube bottles and I have one and it is Saturday 4th December 2021 I am going to buy a second Cube gas bottle for myself in about two hours. Of course, I will exchange them when they are empty but it proves my point. They are holding onto this Cube bottle for no other reason than being a jobsworth."
