Reviews
"Visiting the Omniplex recently, I was immediately greeted by Lucy & Tamara the friendliest of staff, who have made countless cinema trips a very enjoyable experience. The popcorn is so delicious, along with the wide selection of sweets and treats. Overall, the location is ideal as it is out of the limelight of Drogheda town and the spacious cinema screens help people to unwind and enjoy the movie."
"Nice cinema with nice staff. Very comfortable reclining seats with plenty of leg room. Great sound (I think Dolby Digital 7.1) and a sharp picture. Thanks to all this, going to this cinema was a real pleasure."
"Very friendly and helpful staff. The seats are also very comfortable, the reclining chairs should be in every cinema! The only issue I had was I felt the food was way too expensive. €5 for a medium bag of popcorn? I know cinema food is expensive, but this is too far. For this reason, I’d probably rather go to the Arc than Omniplex, but if you don’t care about cinema food, then Omniplex is the place to be!"
"Went to eventually see Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. I've never been to the Omniplex in Drogheda so I decided to treat myself and go on my own. I had the whole place to myself. Staff were courteus and friendly. I only realised at the end of the film that I was the last customer in the cinema, the other movie had finished. Thank you so much to the staff that stayed on, it was a super cold night. I would highly recommend the Omniplex in Drogheda to anyone. Super comfy and spacious! Staff are great too!"
"Nice place, nicely done up. Very comfortable seating. Cinema in seating area very clean. Last time I was there 12 years ago. Nice changes, comparing to old cinema. Didn't like that girl, who was as welcome person at the door, when we entered. She wasn't nice at all. Instead of welcoming us in nice, friendly manner, I felt like a dog barked on us about masks, in the moment we stepped in the door. Floor at the snack bar was sticky, dirty, we stepped in,while ordering our snacks and our shoes got sticky. There was young girl working in the snack bar and she was nicest person you could meet in there, kind , friendly, and very helpful. We took popcorn, for all of us, only salted one was available. Unfortunately it was way too much over salted, kids ate only little bit of it. They love popcorn and were really looking forward to it,but as it was almost impossible to eat it, it was a bit disappointing outcome. Movie it self we really enjoyed. Drinks were nice too. I gave 4 stars mostly for the girl in the bar and cinema itself in seating area. For that person who welcomed us I would give 0 stars, if I could. For young girl in the snack bar 5 stars."
