"I cannot thank the team in blanch CHI enough today. To the wonderful doctor / lady / reg that walked past my daughter and I took one look, grabbed her and got her into a team in the blink of an eye. As a mammy I have never been more scared in my life but we couldn’t have been in safer hands. They had her stable enough to transport in minutes❤️ thankfully she is now doing well x"
"From the time I phoned to ask advice up to the second we left, and even afterward when I phoned to query a prescription, the staff were fantastic. The children were given colouring books, colouring pencils and a goody bag for christmas while waiting. The unit was decorated beautifully and really geared towards the children which minimised the anxiety my little one had about 'being sick for Christmas'. We had a 4 hour wait, which is minimal compared to the hospitals and the whole experience felt far less hectic than a visit to the usual A&E. A special thanks to Corina, Ellen and Dr Aoife who looked after us incredibly well. Happy Christmas to all the wonderful staff in CHI Blanchardstown."
"Clean, spacious and extremely quick service. The nurses and Dr took fantastic care of our 4 month old daughter. Thank you for the wonderful service you provide!"
"From the moment you walk in the level of care is brilliant. Lovely, friendly, understanding receptionist, traige nurse & doctor. Only there 2 hrs and my son had treatment for his Asthma problem and went home much better. If all our hospitals were as well ran as this one it would be great. Highly recommend."
"5 hours wait to be told my daughter is "absolutely fine". My husband asked for a blood test and the doctor(!) said they won't show anything anyway. You're a doctor caring for children - how can you say that? Eventually found a clinic, where blood testing is available and results given on the spot - bronchitis and antibiotic treatment is required, along with other medication. 2 month long cough is gone in a matter of days. But she's fine right? When a child seems well to them, they don't bother and most of the positive reviews here I see are to do with fractures etc, which is obvious and they know how to fix but when it comes to something more ambiguous, they can't even figure out that a child has bronchitis, which, without proper treatment can lead to complications. The doctor additionally said that they only do blood tests "for very sick children". Well, with your attitude and treatment options, no wonder simple infections can lead to "very sick children". You're used to this as an adult but it's incredibly disheartening when you go to the hospital seeking help and you don't even know if they will help your child."
