"Attended their A&E recently & feared the worst! It was very busy but I was still seen speedily. The necessary XRays were taken & appropriate pain medication prescribed. I have nothing but praise & respect for all the medical staff there! Thank you!"
"Had a head injury. Was received for initial consultation after 1.5 hours. Which I would consider good considering that A&E are usually busy. And yes, they were very busy this period. Excellent initial service. I was referred for CT scan and currently waiting for that. But so far good service. This review is for the initial period."
"They deserve 10 out of 10 & a gold star for their professionalism, quality of care, kindness etc. The staff are outstanding! Very high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. Really impressed. (Many thanks)"
"The emergency department should be called 'waiting for ever' department. You pay 100euros , and you never see a doctor although the nurse has put your name 'on the list'."
"I always find this hospital through and efficient. The majority of the staff are so friendly, kind and considerate. I know the medical care is under strain and it’s not the staffs fault, and sometimes the wait is long. I have to mention a staff member that dealt with me when I was there recently. Her name was Louise Brennan,, triage nurse. She was amazing with me. She went above and behind to put me at ease and address my concerns through a very distressing and confusing time. She was kind attentive and really caring. Thank you!"
