"The team of Consultants who work in the Dublin Pain Clinic are exceptional in terms of experience, care and professionalism. Professor llyinski and Professor Khan are both incredibly dedicated Consultants who go above and beyond to ensure successful outcomes for their patients. I’ve been attending them for years and without their care would most likely be highly dependent on pain medications and unable to work. However, thanks to their care which has involved a multiple of pain treatments in the form of nerve blocks, infusions and spinal cord stimulation to manage chronic pain and CRPS syndrome, I am able to cope when the pain becomes unbearable as I know help is readily available at the Dublin Pain Clinic and their response is always fast, timely, empathetic and efficient and I cannot rate them highly enough. Whenever anyone mentions pain management to me or are looking to be referred to someone who is highly experienced within the area of pain management, I never hesitate to refer them on to the team in the Dublin Pain Clinic as I know they’ll receive the best of care."
"I am astonished that there are not more reviews for this amazing clinic. I have Degenerative Disc Disease and have had neck pain on and off for 7 years. This was brought on by swimming a mile twice a week but my pain was managed by my Physio and Sports Physician. I then herniated my C5-6 and C6-7 discs and the resulting nerve pain was excruciating. I visited an Emergency Department in another hospital twice in one week and received a gazillion different drugs but nothing worked! Prof Khan saw me with only 19 hours’ notice – incredible! He was fantastic and within half an hour of attending the clinic, where he administered steroids and local anaesthetic nerve blocks under fluoroscopy guidance, I could actually sit up and move my neck and right arm with much less pain. Two weeks later I had a similar procedure under sedation in the day theatre. My pain was improved but still pretty bad and then Prof Ilyinski (they all work as a great team here) carried out the minimally invasive PRF in the day theatre two weeks after that. That helped a lot and a second PRF was done a couple of weeks later by Prof. Khan – on a Saturday!! Within 12 days I was back with my physio and this week, five months after sustaining my injury, I’ve just got clearance to go back water skiing and sand sailing! The entire team, including the office back up staff - James, Lauren and Rhona are SO empathetic, kind, and professional. 10/10"
"I do not recommend. I’ve had 2 procedures and I’m in worse pain than ever. Very little information given as to what is being done and why. And zero follow up or after care."
