"Terrible. The waiting area is freezing. We have been waiting for three hours with no doctor in sight. It is the poorest quality attention."
"Disrespectful and horrible service. I’ve been living in Ireland for 3 years and thankfully that was the first time I have to use the public hospital. It’s unbelievable the long hours we waiting on the emergency room at Saint James’s Hospital b. We arrived here at 7:15 pm 12/12/22 at this moment is 3:25 am 13/12/22 and we still don’t know when we’ll get the results. There’s aprox 10 people waiting for a doctor and they come to talk to us. No answers, no results no service."
"I waited for 7 hours from 3 AM on a Friday night but there were many patients coming in with injuries more severe than my sciatica crises. The staff and the doctors were absolutely amazing, I was offered pain killers during the triage and I walked out without the pain that tortured me for days and nights."
"Worst place ever. I came there with severe pain in left arm and a numb hand. I couldn't move really. I had to sit on a hard chair for hours, the nurse who took my blood ridiculed me because I had a panic attack. Never ever had I been treated worse. This is a EU country and the health system is worse than in the 3rd world"
"Admitted by ambulance after collapsing. Ambulance crew were so kind and professional. Checked me out fully before proceeding to St James. Again here staff were so courteous and professional. Was lucky enough to get onto a trolley. Carried out tests on heart, chest and bloods. Was released with referral for follow on consultation. All done within 5 hours. Wonderful service. Thank you so much."
