"SUPERIOR IN EVERY WAY I was in Rathbeale store when one lady was short 3 cents and the cashier said "that's OK no problem"...Dunnes would cut your throat for that and demand you return all your shopping if it happened in their stores. In Dunnes one time I spent 9 minutes waiting for one woman while she slowly put her paid for goods in her bags one by one. I said to the manager why don't you do like Lidl and put shelves for packing and i was told.."thats the way we've always done it and our customers wouldn't like it to change"..I'm/was a customer and I'd like shelves as would many others I've spoken to about it. Lidl designers are so intelligent that the shelves are also at the correct heights position for sitting while you pack...even Aldi are not that thoughtful. I used spend 200 euro a week in Miserable Maggys/Dunnes Stores but not any more"
"Well stocked, helpful staff but may need a face lift as shop feels a bit aged now."
"Very clean store and the quality of the goods is as good as it gets."
"The standard convenient supermarket. Easy to shopping, except those neverending queues on cashiers everytime. Everytime, no kidding. Does the manager is lack of skills to manage such simple thing? Edited: After several recent visits I have to take some stars down. Vegetables/fruits are often poor quality, not uniquely I find rotten/moldy pieces! Floor is also often in mess. Lidl unexpectedly discontinued several products and no replacement provided. Example? Red Fruit dessert as on photo. It's awesome product, one of a kind. Suddenly is not available and no similar replacement provided. Would be also good to have EV charging point here. More and more BEV cars are on roads, chargers are more and more required."
"Good value for money ,good location.... Fresh flowers looks nice but not good quality. What I love that's cinamon bun, very tasty."
