"Dunes jcs is fine store but limited in range of products because of its size and dunes interest in pushing too many of its own products at expense of a greater customer choice in selection, its cafe sol coffee however is good and at only 2.25 its way cheaper than anywhere else and just as good"
"We was at the store today and absolutely in chock. The costumer in front of us ask some help to package her grocery the cashier refused to help her and left the till!!!! The woman spend 230β¬ at the store and was denied assistance. We stepped to help her. A old man was waiting at the oder cashier he wasn't very stable on the legs and was denied access to the the till he was waiting for and ask to move back at the different one at the back at the queue!!!! We are not regularly costumer but for sure we will never return if they are treating costumer that way is a dis a very disturbing situation to wetness"
"Terrible opening hours. Closes at 6pm on a Sunday, in the year 2023. Monday to Wednesday aren't much better. Always lacking in stock, seems to be a diet-dunnes, doesn't have half as much variety as a proper dunnes stores. Shabby place too."
"I was on a nostalgic journey. Shopped in JC'S from its opening probably in the 70's. It used to be an exciting shop with something different and strange on offer every week. It is now like any other store and boring. God bless JC, May he rest in peace. Was a great character."
"SUPERIOR IN EVERY WAY I was in Lidls Rathbeale store when one lady was short 3 cents and the cashier said "that's OK no problem"...Dunnes would cut your throat for that and demand you return all your shopping if it happened in their stores. In Dunnes one time I spent 9 minutes waiting for one woman while she slowly put her paid for goods in her bags one by one. I said to the manager why don't you do like Lidl and put shelves for packing and i was told.."thats the way we've always done it and our customers wouldn't like it to change"..I'm/was a customer and I'd like shelves as would many others I've spoken to about it. Lidl designers are so intelligent that the shelves are also at the correct heights position for sitting while you pack...even Aldi are not that thoughtful. I used spend 200 euro a week in Miserable Maggys/Dunnes Stores but not any more"
