Reviews
"Stunning beach and sanddune wanders. Great little coffee shed at the carpark (do lovely dog treats too). So many different roots, to the castle, lake, beach, car park could be packed and you'd likely not meet anyone on your route. Beach is great for dogs, there is livestock on the coast path but its well signposted and gated. Great place all year round"
"Lovely walk around here, car parking could be a problem at busier times but a steady flow of people leaving. You pay at the parking machine as you leave, seen some fungi, berries, lovely birds. Quite local so we will return."
"Our fav place to go dog walking , quick dip to the sea or just sit and watch the sunset. Its a nature reserve , so lots of birds around and really quiet during the week. Weekends get busy, so tend to avoid, as we live local."
"Stunning place for a walk. Dogs absolutely love it. The beach is wonderful too. Easy to get lost in early spring as many paths are waterlogged but I enjoyed exploring off the paths and eventually getting back to the car park."
"Lovely place to visit. There's a sign post with a few selected, marked walks, from 30 mins to 3 hours . Great access to the beach ⛱️ just make sure your dog is well behaved as there are sheep roaming around Nice coffee for when you've finished by the vendor there. Plenty of parking and free when we visited."
