"Let me start off by saying I loved this nail salon until this week. I raved about it to friends and family, and it saddens me to write this. For the last three of my appointments I received biab, the first two I loved! I received so many compliments, one even from my mother which is a big deal. If you have an Irish mammy you’ll understand! Firstly, I must admit, I am a picker. On my third application of biab at Charm I had picked off 8 out of 10 nails. I do this every time, so nothing unusual there, it had never been a problem before. This meant that I needed a fresh set on 8 out of the 10 nails and a refill on two. As I wait to get my nails done, I was greeted by a nail tech who wasn’t my usual lady but I had admired her work when sitting at the bench in the past so was excited to see what she had to offer. I was thrilled with how they looked, especially when the appointment only took 40 mins. (The last two times it look over an hour!) The trill stopped there. As soon as I left I noticed that the nails where she applied a fresh set were super thin in comparison to the refills. My nails bent to the touch, it was that thin. I have had thicker shellac in the past. Shock.. one chipped two days later, and then another and another. Less than a week later my nails we starting to break so I emailed photos and videos over to the guys in Charm explaining my situation and asked for them to be fixed, I thought nothing more of it coz I didn’t have any issues before. But I received no response two days later, so I sent them a message on Instagram. Within two hours I got a response, great stuff! But they directed me to rebook online at no extra cost. The treatment they told me to book for didn’t exist so they told me to book a different one, which stated it was a 10 mins appointment. Now I’m no nail tech, and I know they aren’t wizards but there is no chance they can repair 6 nails in 10 mins. Anyways long story short, they ended up just ignoring me on instagram and not calling me back on two occasions.. So after two nails fully broke, I felt I had no option but to go to the salon for them to rebook me in. They accommodated this later that evening in fairness to them but it took a week of communicating and me taking time out of my day to physically go to the salon to get it sorted. Cherry on top, they made me pay a €3 deposit for this appointment and had to ask for it to be refunded. Ironically, the rectified nails are super bulky after they were too thin, but I’ll take that over chipped nails any day. Usually great nails, just terrible customer service in this instance. Ps, you might think this is an excessive review but I’m just really disappointed coz I loved attending in the past :("

"Got a set of acrilic nails and a pedicure, spent €110. Was happy with end result..went back 4 weeks later as was left with 2 nails that wouldn't come of. I asked them could they remove them and when they realised it was only 2 nails I was told they have no appointments for a full week. Went to rainbow in edenmore and they very kindly removed them in 5 minutes... would not give charm anymore of my money and would definitely not recommend them...just to respond to your response..I was done on 16th July at 10 am..I didn't expect to be seen to straight away without appointment but there wasn't a issue until I said I only have 2 nails to remove..the salon most definitely wasn't booked out for a full week. It only took rainbow salon 5 minutes to remove them.."

"Little hidden gem! The staff are lovely and the overall atmosphere of the place is very calming. For 35 euros you can get a great shellac/gel manicure. They are not heavy handed with the nail polish like a lot of places I have experienced, so the polish really does last for a minimum of two weeks. They’re very careful when it comes to cuticle work as well, so your hands are left smooth and look brand new. Will be recommending this place for sure!"
