"I never leave reviews, but I am so disappointed by my experience and Occasion’s response to it, I feel I need to let others know. The haircut given by Liz, the manager, is something I have never experienced before. Because I was given a wavy blowdry at the day of the appointment, I didn’t realise until couple of days later when I was straightening my hair that a big chuck was missing at the front. It was so bad that I couldn’t just live with it and find another hairdresser to fix it. I politely asked for a refund, but apparently it’s not “company policy”. They offered to fix it, which I was very hesitant about but decided to give them another chance. And like I feared, if it’s not done well the first time around, how could I expect it getting any better. She didn’t even check the whole haircut, only straightened two front sides, leaving the back wavy. I didn’t only walk out of the salon with a sloppy styling, now I also look like I am trying to grow out a badly cut fringe. Damage is done, the only option is to wear it tied back until it grows out or cut my hair short. I seriously recommend reviewing your company policies, as if you have made such a mistake that the customer is forced to come back (believe me, it is the most awkward thing to do!), you could at least avoid a bad review."
