"This is a proper neighborhood local pub. An older crowd and excellent service. The beer selection is limited to the mainstream, but what's on is good"
"Lovely staff well run pub and local people every one knows each other."
"A really fine pint of Guinness and friendly staff."
"Popped in for a quick lunch. They required the covid cert to sit down and eat in the lounge. I looked at the menu and thought the cheese and ham on sourdough bread toasted would be good. It was €6.50, so I ordered that and a cappuccino first. It arrived and straightaway I noticed it was ordinary sliced pan, but very small slices, they came back and asked is everything ok, I mentioned the sliced bread instead of sourdough as featured on the menu. They disappeared and didn’t come back. I then ordered the lemon drizzle cake. I think it was about €4 or €4.50. I couldn’t get a bill to pay, they kept saying the bar and food was separate….so they eventually wrote one out by hand , sure that was fine, I just wanted to see what I was paying for. They sent 2 members of staff to deliver and collect the money. Obviously to have a fight if I was not willing to pay!!?? Of course I paid. Like are you not entitled to a bill for lunch? It was a complete rip off and they didn’t care."
"Such a nice place yo stop for a pint in a Sunday evening. The ambience is so nice and friendly! I will definitely be back soon."
