"Called in for toasties on Paddy's Day, safe to say we won't returning for more any time soon, the bread was barely toasted, one piece of ham on each sandwich and we could hardly locate the cheese, no rocket and no red onion as advertised, the reason we didn't complain was because we reckoned the kitchen was mad busy. On the up side the chips were really good. We were presented with the bill before we had even finished our drinks so we took our custom elsewhere. Far too expensive for a bad toastie......."
"Good location, and quality food. Although the kitchen was really slow, waited for more than an hour for our food. At least we could agree it was worth the wait, the food turned out to be very tasty. Payed 20 euros for service, which is way too much considering how high the prices of drinks and food were. Drinks: Cider 7€, Espresso Martini 12€, Coke 4€ (for a relatively small bottle). Food: Burger 17€, Fish and Chips 19€."
"Absolutely fantastic food and amazing service - we went in here for a drink during lunch before visiting the shops - it was so nice we decided to come back for food before we went to a show at the National Concert Hall, I am a manual wheelchair user and we mentioned that we would be coming back and the server, Liz (fantastic waitress), was good enough to reserve a table for us. Even though staff were run off their feet they made sure that we had everything we wanted and made sure that I had easy access to the wheelchair accessible toilet. Madigans is now our spot any time we are going to a show we will be going back here. Thank you so much Madigans - We will be back!!"
"Unfortunately we went here on Friday night 19th December . 20 of us from an organisation close by. Staff were rude , Guinness was bad . We were aware that a private function was arranged for later on in the night so moved off the tables and were standing in the body of the bar when a staff member physically took drink off us told us to get out. Ways and means of asking people to leave. Management need to retrain their staff on customer relations. Sad day we will see in January when the place is empty if they want our patronage."
"The Madigans is a very cosy pub in the heart of Dublin. Super well located, it's exterior and interior design are great. The bar is super impressive with tons of bottles on display! The staff is friendly and will make sure that you have what you need to enjoy your time. They will serve you at the table or at the bar (as you wish pretty much). We ordered BBQ chicken and when the food came in, the waitress realized that a mistake was made on the order. She corrected it immediately and was very apologetic. Highly recommended! :)"
