"Nice bright modern spacious pub/restaurant with art deco feel. There was a nice art exhibition there as well. We didn't have food but the bar service was friendly and fairly attentive."

"DO NOT HAVE YOUR 21ST IN WALTERS! Myself and my friend had our joint 21st birthday party here. We went to view the room and pay the deposit to start our party at 8pm which was all a very smooth process. Then we receive a call from a manager a week later to say that there was apparently a mistake and they double booked our room that was from 8-9pm for a comedy show. We were really annoyed we weren’t told this on the day we paid the deposit. Then the day before the 21st they rang us to now tell us the comedy show was from 8-10 and that the room would be ready after that. We rang them to complain as it was the day before. We finally came to terms, got the comedy show cut until 9:30 and they said a team of 5/6 people will be up to clear it and decorate it. We went up at 9:40 the comedy show was still going then it finished at 9:50. The room was full of chairs , empty glasses it was filthy and the team of 5/6 people that we were told would help us were not there. Myself and my friend on our birthday had to clear empty glasses, my parents had to clear the chairs , and no one helped us to decorate. Overall we were extremely disappointed and upset with the hospitality of walters and the management, so as a recommendation do not have your party here."

"I went into Walter's on a cold, rainy October night for a last minute dinner. Ended up having the best stew of my life! It came with lovely fluffy mash and perfectly cooked veggies. The staff were lovely and the restaurant is so cozy with its open fire. Great Halloween decorations too!"

"My new favorite spot to hang out. It has so much to offer. In awe of the beautiful art work that is hung around Walters. This place really captures the essence of the sea front. It has both contemporary and old interior to its building. The staff are extremely friendly and really hard working. I was greeted with the highest regard and with a warm welcome upon arrival. They hold weekly events and live music with incredibly talented Musicians and Djs that are well known in the entertainment industry. I recently attended a drink and draw night with a few of my friends and we had an absolute blast. The food and drinks really complement each other with delicious cocktails to suit your mood and taste. Outdoor seating has the most amazing ambience and is beautifully lit at night time. I look forward to seeing this place blossom even further."

"Stunning transformation to what was an abandoned looking lot. There have been so many businesses closing along this stretch of street in Dun Laoghaire, its great to see new businesses popping up and Walters is unexpected. With its beautiful sweeping restored wood bar, its bright elegant spaces flooded with natural light, punctuated by intimate snugs and open 'kitchen table' spaces, arm chairs by the wood fires or a tall stool at the bar, it has wide appeal. Original features have been lovingly maintained or restored. Thoughtful pieces of art add vibrancy and personality throughout this unique and unrepressed space. It is beautiful. The staff are friendly, professional and committed. Walters is classy and friendly. Go, find out for yourself."
