"We had a lovely carvery meal here yesterday. It’s nice to actually get the food nearer hot than tepid. Every part of it was tasty, and it is more reasonably priced than a lot of other establishments. The beer also is competitively priced. The staff are genuinely friendly as they seem to enjoy working here so it is not a forced interaction. An enjoyable experience."
"Haven't been in here in a while. Amazing. Bustling on a Friday evening even with the current cost of living pressures. Lots of friendly helpful staff. Helped us find a table and really looked after us. The staff alone in this place get 5/5. Really on point. The food was delicious. And in general you can tell the owner has continued to invest into the staff and the premises even with the last few tough years. Place is large and clean and has a great atmosphere. Highly recommended. Great job."
"Very nice pub and pub grub. Despite a huge number of customers after a sunny day following the Bray air show, the staff and service came up trumps! Had to wait a bit in view of the attendees, had a quicky served drink whilst waiting. Three people served very good food despite dissying staff running around trying to attend to everyone"
"Hands down, the best steak sandwich I've ever had. Guinness 9/10. Waitresses,10/10 for attitude, friendliness and quality of work. Bar man on the ball, 10 stars too"
"First time at this pub. Perfect for everyone including young ones. The environment was cosy and warm. My colleague and I had a table close to the fire place. I ordered grilled sea bass served with potato made with garlic and herbs. Mmm!! Delicious! Staff were lovely. The manager I think it was checked in on us making sure we were happy. I m definitely returning to that pub soon."
