"The staff couldn’t handle the influx of people. Took about 25 mins to get a flat white I had ordered before others walked in which I ended up leaving behind because the girl had passed my order to someone else. Mayhem and not a stressless Sunday experience I was after. I had been looking forward to checking this place out."
"I go here every morning before work and I’ve never once had a bad coffee. No matter who makes it it’s always the best. Staff are so friendly as well."
"Hoping it was just a bad day. Had an espresso yesterday and had very high hopes, based on previous experiences with Two Fifty Square in Rathmines (see previous review on my profile) which were not met. Staff didn’t seem knowledgeable about the coffee being served and when I asked what process the Costa Rican was they were serving I was told ‘oh the taste notes are on the blue bag over there’. The blue bag turned out to be a Guatemalan coffee which wasn’t on bar at the time. A real disappointment as the normal Two Fifty Square has always been filled with knowledgeable staff who are always happy to chat about all things coffee and the art and beauty that it espresso. The coffee itself was nothing to shout home about, weak with no body and lacking any distinctive taste notes. Don’t think I’ll revisit again and will keep myself confined to the cafe in Rathmines instead where staff seem to care and enjoy their job. Marking down a star as it’s madness that cash is not accepted either. 0/10 would not recommend"
"Sudo account: real name Alan Joyce. Went to have a cheeky coffee in the sun yesterday as i was visiting camera kit. They suggested I try out this place as I love decent coffee and people who are passionate about what they do. I was met with a wonderful warm and happy smile and some suggestions from the lady for drinks were suggested. I had iced Vietnamese style coffee which was tasty (mix the bottom part with your straw as that’s where the sugery bit stays) . I also got a sundae which was perfect for the hot day and honestly it was well built! Loads of chocolate balls and but were in it, good eating! Both were delicious. I spoke to the Barista for a bit who was telling me about the establishment and the coffee choices. i asked if i could have a double espresso along with what I had just drank and was pleasantly surprised to enjoy a a fruit enriched bean with out it being astringent or bitter it was decently made he did well under the circumstances of hot beans. Having a skilled barista and staff who are knowledgeable and friendly is the key to any coffee shop. I may pop in today for round two. By the way i came from Kildare to enjoy the flavours so well done on nailing customer service there was another man who handed me a card as I wanted to look up the place and well also write a review. Which now I’ve done and now i want more coffee!!!! If you are around Terenure pop in and get some bean action in you. Peace and coffee love"
