"Great place for coffee and a sambo after a beach walk. They welcome dogs too with treats and bowls of water. Just next to the public Carpark in the grounds of an old house. Well worth a visit"
"Lovely place. Just at main street but hidden at the same time. I got delicious Iced Caramel Latte in there. Very friendly staff as well!"
"Tried this lovely friendly environment. A good breakfast place and it tasted good. Loved the Oreo hot chocolate."
"I had a really unpleasant to experience here this morning. I walked up to the counter to order and I was wearing a face mask. The woman behind the counter looked at me and said, “you can take your mask off sweetheart, you’re outside” before asking me what she could get me. I was really taken aback by this sarcastic comment. I’m 36 years of age, if I wish to wear a face mask, indoors or outdoors I don’t feel that it’s anyone else’s business. I also don’t appreciate being called “sweetheart” by anyone. Would she have said this to a man? She continued to be unpleasant while she took my order and then told me to take a seat, shouting at me when it was ready for collection. I had ordered a porridge pot for four euro from the menu. What I was given was a takeaway pot of Flahavans porridge oats that can be bought in the Lidl supermarket down the road for about one euro with hot water added to it. It had a terrible taste and was inedible. We only stayed a few minutes due to how uncomfortable the whole experience was and by the time we got up to go, our clothes, the table, coffee cups and porridge pot was covered in loads of little insects (see photos). There are lots of really nice coffee shops in Portmarnock but I can’t say that this is one of them. Needless to say, we won’t be back here again."
"The little house looks like a fairy tail and the garden as well. The coffee is excellent, the staff very helpful. However, I think that such a place, where people can sit at the table and spend some good time, also needs a toilet for customers."
