"First time going there, also last time. While staff is way more nicely when compare to poolside café, their Costa coffee is full of milq foam. 3.10€ when you have half of your order is expensive and essentially not a good business practice. Imagine your next Guinness only half full and the rest topped up by foam... well same goes for coffee..."
"Food looks lovely and fresh. Nice healthy option if you like your salads. Reason for 2 star is dont order coffee if your in a hurry. While the coffee might be nice I actually think they grow the beans for each individual cup. Expect at least 10mins for your coffee which you can imagine causes long lines. However if they fixed the time it takes to make coffee I'd give 5 stars as quality of food is nice."
"Very good salads. Coffee is decent. Prices are ok. Can get very busy and it is hard to find seats during lunch time."
"Got a flat white. Comes in a Costa cup. Tasted so burnt not even sure it was coffee. Chucked it. Half the food options not available despite being only 12 midday. No sparkling water because "we don't get orders today", of course silly me for thinking orders come in on a Monday or you might actually use data to predict sales to ensure stock levels are adequate. Music from one of those annoying radio stations instead of mood music so no effort there. Came out annoyed and frustrated instead of the opposite, unfortunately. Very poorly run cafe that's exists only because there has to be one in every building in UCD it seems at the compromise of quality. Doubt they even read reviews on what they can improve on. The €2 flat white coffee at the poolside cafe is much nicer than the €3 tripe served up at this kip. Never going back."
"Cross-contamination nightmare: All the salads/Sandwiches are made from the ingredients in the trays that are grabbed by hand by staff: they don't change their gloves when putting on meat / eggs / diary and moving on to vegetables. Highly risky practice considering all people with allergies, vegetarians, vegans etc. Plus ridiculously pricey for what it is. not going there again."
