"I've become accustomed to the high standard of hotel hygiene and generously sized rooms at Holiday Inn, I was not let down. Sadly, this visit my whole stay was extremely disturbed by the family next door because of thin walls. Location was good, I literally walked approx 300-400 yards for dinner at a local restaurant. The street was full of eateries (Asian, Turkish, Moroccan, along with the expected fish n chips/burgers."
"Very nice hotel good location and must say the staff Jason, Lala, were very helpful nothing was to much for them. The breakfast was brilliant something we looked forward to Sammy takes pride in running it and his customer service is excellent, the quality of the foods in the buffet is very impressive. Location was brilliant also across the road from the beach and to the left so many food places. And a sainsburys 5min walk. I would definitely use them again stayed for 3 nights and had a nice sleep."
"Comfortable bed, good, clean bathroom and fairly quiet. I actually slept all night, which is most unusual for me the first night in a bed that is not my own. The only downside is having paid a not-so-cheap rate for the room, they wanted to charge us £25 to park in their garage. Worse still we could not reserve a space ahead of time. Other than that we were very happy with everything. Didn't try the food."
"Excellent family friendly hotel on the beach front and around the corner from excellent restaurants. Staff are very friendly and go above and beyond for families. They put in an extra bed and a cot for us in the room as there were 5 of us staying in the room (2 adults, three children including a toddler) and we were given a room with a sea view. At check-in Jason was particularly helpful with answering our questions and tending to our needs. The location is especially good for young families as opposite the hotel is the kids play area with sandy play and a lido (which wasn't functioning during our stay). The parking is also very convenient (it charges £25 per day). Overall an excellent stay and we would definitely come again."
"The best, and really the only, good aspects of this hotel are the lovely staff and the location. Otherwise I couldn’t recommend staying here. The entire hotel is rundown, with worn and broken fixtures and facilities and clear evidence that long term maintenance is lacking. When we stayed - in the peak summer season - only one of two lifts was working. The lobby and lifts were grimy, and both lobby and hotel room windows hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. The phone didn’t work in our room, the walls had dirt makes and stains, and the furnishings were generally dated and worn. However, the aircon worked well, which helped as we were here during a heatwave. It’s a shame the owners of this hotel don’t seem interested in investing in it. It’s of course disappointing for guests, but it also is an injustice to the staff, all of whom were courteous, helpful, patient and friendly. They deserve to be working in a better establishment with higher standards. Unless this hotel undergoes a complete renovation, we will not stay here again. There are far better options within a few minutes’ walk."
