"I booked a badminton court for Friday night. Booked it on the Thursday with a guy and specifically left my mobile number if they needed to contact me as I was going to drive 20 minutes to get there. When I arrived I was greeted by a very old lady who was very rude to me and was laughing at me, and acting like it was my fault that her colleague had double booked the court. Probably time for her to go on a customer services course or even better.... retire!"
"We use The Manor Gym to play our Activities Bubble Football , Archery tag and Nerf Wars and can only speak highly of the staff and centre easy to book, clean and great access. Keep up the great work. Excel Activity Group"
"Great place, huge hall, side rooms, outside space, you can privately hire for a very reasonable price or find a range of activities going on throughout the week. Lovely lady that works in the office, helpful and friendly. Also do a book swap box."
"Lovely sport center managed by wonderful people. The stuff is good around. We booked it for a couple of hours and we are looking forward to do it again. It is well illuminated and cared. They also run a wide variety of events and sports you can join."
"It’s amazing to have a gym that give to the community like this one does. There are many activities for the community at a reasonable price. My only issue is with football sessions for kids. Although it’s free which is great for the kids of the area, there are older kids displaying violence toward the younger more vulnerable kids. Whilst watching my son, who loves football, try to join in. He was continually ignored by the older more experienced players who shouted abuse at him when he tried to get the ball. One of which actually threatened to hit him for asking to have a go. The same boy smacking other younger players. One boy lay on the floor having been punched in the face by his brother. All of which was not picked up by the coaches there. There is not structure, older kids dominate the game whilst younger kids run up and down trying to join in. I tried to send an email explaining my concerns but sadly was not replied to on the matter. I would give the gym activities themselves 4 stars. The football however, 2 for not supporting kids and ignoring bullying. Thanks"
