"Extremely disappointing visit to view a car and obtain a quote for a part ex. Obviously carried out some homework on an approx. value of my car by finding out what 'We Buy Any Car' would offer, as generally this would be a minimum guide price; however the part ex price offer was 25% LESS than this, which quite frankly was an insult. I did disclose the amount 'We Buy Any Car' offered. The quotation also included an additional £1000 worth of extras that were not explained thoroughly enough. During the test drive there was a tyre inflation fault and in the glove compartment there was documentation pertaining to another vehicle. Also, no service history proof could be provided. When I left I drove 100 or so meters down the road to another dealer of which took them about 10 minutes to provide a part ex price MUCH higher then the 'We Buy Any Car' guide price. My faith in car dealers was restored... On a positive note, I did receive a phone call the following morning from a lovely rep with an apology (which I was grateful for) to advise there was a 'mix up' with the paper work and that I had received the incorrect valuation. I was re-offered the exact amount 'We Buy Any Car' offered. Unfortunately there were too many negatives, poor initial customer service and 2 x low part ex valuations for me to continue any business. One thing car dealers shouldn't get wrong (or at least be fair) is the valuation for your car. Further to their reply to this review, I duly supplied my contact details but to date have not been contacted......."
